The last step in buying a home is the Mortgage Closing. To reach this point there are a few points to consider.  

Have you saved money for a down payment?  One of the first steps to buying a home is to save for the down payment. In most cases, lenders require a twenty percent down payment.

The pre-qualification process is one in which a mortgage company interviews the home buyer and asks questions about the individuals finances, including debts.
